(no subject)
I'm working on switching livejournals, beginning with a bit of an explanation of my transformed state of mind. but its difficult, first because i have to PICK A NEW USERNAME (how will i define myself? as a young american woman abroad? i'm sure dr. mendelssohn and henry james have something to say about this) and second because i have to sort this mentality out. and every time i go to do that i wind up exhausted and a little loony.
i just feel like i've been doing a terrible job of conveying the experience i've been having. with the exception of the amsterdam picture post, the others have just fallen woefully short.
maybe dublin has the answers.
and mike, those mf songs are gold. i already played born on a train and sunset city threadbare at the start of the semester, but the others...yes. especially jeremy and when you were my baby
