ok so i guess it's update time again :-D

let's see....WAY too much as gone down since i last updated, so i'm going to go through major events chronologically in bullet form (yeah i'm a loser)...

-2 weekends ago was my cousin's 30th wedding anniversary, and since they never had a wedding because they couldn't afford it, they decided to go all out and renew their vows. It was SUCH a special night- everyone danced together and had a good time. It was so nice to see two people who still love each other as much as they do after 30 years, and all i could think about was what i would give to have that.

-on my way back from jersey, i got to stop at colleen's house and see her and hung-over jeanette, then col and i went to starbucks and went shopping at marshalls/homegoods. releasing colleen/kevin in a store such as marshalls/homegoods together with credit cards is NEVER a good idea...luckily i got out spending less than $100 :-D

-tuesday was anthony rapp- the event went REALLY well, tons of people came and he was a really good speaker....but i think that the fame has gone to his head. I'd like to say that he was just over tired and cranky....but he's an actor for christ's sake, he should be able to get over that when he's being paid $8000 for a 2 hour show.

-wednesday i had to pick up my car which had been towed away due to stupid BPD signage...that was another $130....

-later on wednesday we took chris to Dolce Vita in the north end for his birthday and surprised him with a limo. the driver was SOO nice and it turned out to be the perfect evening all around :-D

- thurday i met chris and rose at the pour house for drinks and it was fantabulous- we really should all hang out there more often!

- friday was chris' birthday party, complege with three giant (9' x 9') posters of chris, way too much alcohol, mardi gras beads, 2 strippers and a "bouncer" who was "packing heat". after a good deal of drama and lots of secrative preparation, it turned out to be a WICKED fun party. and apparently we already have the "entertainment" booked for taner's birthday...

- saturday i painted clay pottery as part of lil chris' program for his residents with chris and taner. it was a nice way to spend a rainy day! then i met up with matt- there's some drama surrounding that (not to be explained here...) but all in all i had a good time and am hoping that it may lead to something ;-)

-sunday i went home to see Morgan put on Seussical. kim had already left ctown which was say, but i'll see her real soon :-D i was expecting the show to TOTALLY blow....but it was actually pretty good. i'm not a fan of the show, but i think that the cast did a pretty good job (even though all of the dance moves and props were recycled from every show ever done and there were way too many "seat fillers" in the cast that just took up space on the stage). mark, curt, and peggy def. stole the show and i was proud of them all!!

...and now i'm back in boston.

well, for lack of a better way to wrap up this obscenely long entry, i'll leave y'all with a weakerthans quote that again seems to have far too much relevance to my life.

and i'm leaning on this broken fence
between past and present tense
and i'm losing all those stupid games
that i swore i'd never play
but it almost feels ok...
