Dear Roommate,

Spaghetti is not healthier than spinach.  Especially not when you put two pats of straight-up butter on it.  Unless, that is, you do ridiculous things to your spinach.

Also, bananas do not go next to the heater.

I think we should publish a book of letters to roomies.
One of my good friends has had some of the worst roommates ever.. and the last one was a total ditz.. some of the things I remember her having to explain to her roomie were:

-You can't put open containers of raw meat in the refrigerator (also, have to refrigerate canned food when opened)
-You can't leave the straightening iron in the sink when you run water
-You should probably clean up the cat pee that's been in your bathtub for a month
-Ragu is not gourmet
-Living in an apartment means having more than $40 to pay the day that your $400 rent is due.

I hope I never have to go through this.
