Exactly what would make a good husband a good husband? And how do parents decide that?

Because I'm soon going to be fifteen and Dad's already pushing possible husbands on me.

Quite a few of my classmates already have arrangements in that regard that were organized by their parents. I think it's different for commoners, though, you must be very high born.

Oh, yeah, I am. I'm a Fire Nation noble. Sure, I act more like a commoner than most nobles do but I ran away a few years back, to the circus.

If I wasn't so noble born, I'd never have met Azula.

The circus! Are there really tightrope walkers and elephants and men who eat fire there?

That's right, you're good friends with Azula, aren't you?

Well...there were bear-elephants. A bunch of Firebenders, too. They can eat fire. And tightrope walkers? I was one. I saw a circus when I was little and fell in love with it, I just knew I had to be in one some day!
