Screw you Netflix.
So I do a lot of classic movies on Netflix, which always ends badly-- I end up with something heavy when I want dick and fart jokes and gratuitous nudity, always. This go-round was no exception; I got Aguirre, The Wrath Of God. That movie is really weirding me out right now. Basically, a scouting party from Pizarro's mission mutinies and goes searching for El Dorado down the Amazon, and everybody dies. And I was really hungry, low blood sugar, so watching all these guys starve to death and get killed by indians wasn't great. Also, minimalist synthesizer music, for whatever reason weirds me out, and that was allll that was going on for the entire movie, PLUS I left the DVD title loop rolling as I'm writing this, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to have Klaus Kinski nightmares tonight.
