Nucular reactionaries
I get sick of nuclear reactionaries, just like any other ideologue. Maybe a little faster. I'm not all 'hey, nukes, yeah!' or anything, but it seems like a major section of the population is violently opposed to anything nuclear-related whatsoever, with comparatively little reasoning going on. Shit man, nobody's protesting the GIANT OIL REFINERIES RIGHT NEXT TO THE CITY. And we wonder why we have bad air. But ship some hermetically sealed canisters through the city on a train and everybody starts shitting their pants. Jesus christ, kids, they're trying to bury it in a hole in the desert as far from human habitation as they can get. LET THEM. Safe disposal on nuclear waste shouldn't be an environmental no-no. Moving it out of east coast watersheds and into barren mountains in the middle of the desert is a fucking no-brainer. Jesus.
