Horry County Wildfire
So not even 2 miles away from me, there is a wildfire burning that's chewed up over 15,000 acres and is over 5 miles long.
It got out of control yesterday afternoon and at 11 last night, they had it 25 percent contained. On top of that, they canceled evacuation orders too early. No one's been hurt but the smoke is terrible and almost a hundred structures have been completely destroyed while thousands have been damaged.
Now the wind has changed direction but its died down. We may or may not have to evacuate tonight. Devin and I keep going outside to check the smoke direction. I'll keep you posted.
