Digital cameras...

Okay, I need a good, inexpensive digital camera before I go to D.C. I simply cannot waste anymore precious moments of my nephew (and the rest of my family I guess) by not having a good camera. As much as I'd love to pick up the Kodak v530 I mentioned I think it's just a tad out of my budget.

Do you use a digital camera that you'd recommend, or wouldn't recommend? Have a suggestion? I need your opinions here people!
