(no subject)
Wow, I'm doing a really shitty job of doing that thing i said i'd do, with keeping up to date and such. Oh well, I guess this is still better than what it has been, recently.
I was well prepared for senior skip day. My law class started watching a movie that day, band is... band, the math teacher planned to do nothing because all the seniors would be gone, and P&A teacher suggested that we just get ahead in our pig dissection so we don't have makeup work. So on thursday, i was nearly 3 days ahead in the dissection, and therefore in good standing. Yay, me.
So I got a haircut, went to MOA, and finished off with some Beethoven at Orchestra Hall. A well-spent day, I believe. My mom was a little scared about lying to the school attendance answering machine. I told her to just tell them that she was keeping me home because of my complications from giving blood on Thursday morning. Since I did actually pass out.
My mom got a kick out of the notes i left for her Friday morning. I got home around midnight on thursday night, so my parents were both asleep. I wrote about 6 notes reminding them that i was going to be 'sick' that day. Their favorites were the one i left in the bowls in the cupboard, and the one i taped to the milk jug inside the fridge.
Then today I just did some office-work at home, and saw Madagascar. Not a bad movie, but a little more kid-oriented than i was hoping for from the makers of shrek. Unless the adult humor went over my head... but i doubt that's the case.
