The closet of his room hadn't actually seemed that big when you considered how half of it was taken up by Medusa's clothing somehow. So, how he ended up in there while giving Lockjaw a scratch behind the ear was something of a surprise.
Even more of a surprise when the dog suddenly disappeared, leaving him there. It certainly didn't help that it was pitch black with the door shut like that.
He was going to take away that dog's chew toys for this.
