(no subject)
In in JAX airport in florida.
right now its 3:24
A large family just sat down 2 seats next to me, and by large I do not mean a family with lots of members, but a family consisting of large people. The youngest child, or so she appears to be, is quite large and is crawling around the ground like shes 9 months old. This should keep me entertained for an hour and a half until my flight leaves.
My flight got delayed from 4:30 to 5:10 and I'm sure it will be delayed a few more times, which is fine with me. It just means I'll spend less time in JFK airport, where i have spent way to many hours trapped with my sister in a huge snowstorm a few years back, not to mention countless hours over the past 10 years between flights.
Florida was nice, but I spent way to much money on food.
The first day I went to the beach and it was amazing to see again. Went to a few shops along the coast and looked around. Then I went to Hooters for the first time and had wings because i was "stupid if i dont."
They're good, but not that good. The next day we went to the Jacksonville Zoo and saw ridiculous animals and to this European cafe for lunch. Sooo goood. Went ice skating that night with Colleen and Arielle and it was really fun, haven't been in quite a few years. Got back and played Uno Attack in the lobby till like 3 in the morning. Then we watched Pineapple Express that night but fell asleep half way throughWoke up and went to see their friends play in a tennis match. UNF has an unbelievable tennis team. They're all from Brazil or Argentina or somewhere but here. I have never seen such hard core tennis in person. Then we went to Penera for lunch then went back to the dorms to chill. Colleen and I had dinner with her friend Michael and he told us about his alcohol poisining the night before and how he woke up in the hospital with a catheder and an IV. We played Rummy with him and a few other kids. I meet this kid Kyle who I really enjoyed hanging out with. Never had I had such a fun time at a place I only knew one person. Also. I stayed sober the entire weekend. I would have liked to drink with Colleen, but I had fun anyways.
Well... This occupied me for a good 13 minutes...
