Heavy Metal Crazy!
So last night my roomate and I went and saw my favorite band, In Flames. It was, in a word, awesome. The venue was really small, but they packed a crazy amount of people in there. So after the first two opening bands came the two bands I really wanted to see, Trivium and In Flames. Trivium really suprised me. I expected them to be good, but they were really good. It also helps that I like their writing. So much energy too. They got me all excited. They just know how to put on a good show. And what's crazy to me is that their singer/guitarist is 19. I'm 19. But he's touring the country with In Flames, haha. So there you go. Anyways, In Flames came out and just sounded AMAZING. I love their live sound. And they're my favorite band. So there's just something about that that makes them seem like giants to you. So they played a nice long set and I enjoyed it much. Got back around 1:30. You know, it's convenient when it's only a 5-10 min drive from campus.
