I got back from Colorado last night and had to move all my furniture back, wash the pesticide off my sheets and unpack my car. I was exhausted. Eight hours in a car then a crap load of stuff to do, but I'm back and all settled in. Classes start Tuesday and I'm glad, because I was getting bored just sitting around all day.
Skiing was a blast! We got a big cabin with a beautiful stone fireplace, lots of beds, and a jacuzzi all to ourselves. The snowfall was pretty crappy so a lot of the runs weren't open, but it didn't matter. Oh it was so fun. Some of the people were more advanced skiiers so I blazed down with them, then we all would go back to cabin and warm up by the fire. Of course the hot tub was great at night and there were plenty of drunken snow angels by the end of the night.
A few problems occured on the way home from California. First of all I got a ticket for criminal driving. I was going 100 in a 70 zone and a cop pulled me over. So I have to drive three hours back to Blythe, CA to appear in court and have a judge determine how bad my punishment is going to be. Oh it sucks. Then I had Greg call me about how he was worried about me being mad at him. I was tired and pissed so I hung up on him, then I got an insulting e-mail from him. I'm mad about what he did to my brother. Yeah I know it's a delayed reaction, but I just didn't know how much my brother was hurt by it. And Greg just didn't care. His whole atittude finally got to me and I had it. So I have a huge ticket and I terminated a friendship. But that's life. I'm not really all that upset, I just have to admmit my mistakes and deal with them.
One the other hand, the break was great. I had so much fun seeing everyone. I wish I could have seen more of Chris and Sarah, but there will be plenty of time this summer. Until then thank you everyone for reminding me that there is no place like home.
