week thirteen
Oh my god there is only two more weeks before our final project is due in studio and it's freaking nuts. So nuts that I actually had to change my flight back from Sunday to Saturday. I wish I could take my work home with me, but unfortunately I don't want to carry a 30" by 40" drafting board on a plane. I'm bring my laptop back to work on some essays for other classes. Basically if anyone was thinking of seeing me during Thanksgiving, I'm sorry but you'll just have to wait until Christmas. I really should just stay here, but I already have the plane ticket and I do want to be want my family.
Not much new besides that. I played poker on Friday. $5 buy in with winner getting $30 and runner up $10. I came in fourth which means I got no money, but fared pretty well for being the only girl there. I also had pumpkin ale in celebration of the holiday. It was interesting, but I wish it had more of a pumpkin flavor. That really was my one and only fun event for the weekend. I've been doing nothing but working and Aikido. Honestly if it weren't for Aikido, I would have killed myself by now.
