i e-mailed fr. paul last nite to see if he'd be my spiritual director.
he said we'd start speaking on the phone after Easter.
i'm really excited for it. Fr. Paul is far too awesome. he's such a holy man and is so Orthodox and sound in the Catholic faith which is a) rare among priests around here and b) rarer among the priests in his age range (30's).
i just feel really blessed that our Diocese has him!!
such a HOLY, HOLY man of God!!
he reminds me sooo much of JP2 (the younger years).
in closing, i will leave you with some of my very favorite Fr. Paul quotes ever:
Fr. Paul: (during Q&A session) There's a new kind of sex someone just told me about. Phone sex. I don't know what it is, but i don't want the phone number!
(after talking about how large my hair is)
Fr. Paul: you should grow your hair out really long for like five years.
Me: Why?
Fr. Paul: Because then it'd be REALLY big!
It could be cast in a Hebrew play as the Burning Bush!!!!
