I Have Come to Worship
8am on Sundays,
while all my friends are still asleep,
I have been awake for an hour,
and the sleepy seeds are gone from my eyes.
I walk into the brick building
and drop to my knees at the
marble altar, acknowledging
the King. Heaven's Glory is here on earth...
and all my friends are sleeping.
