Wow, near-instant gratification is a beautiful thing
My Dad seems to me a very conservative guy. In fact, he told me so himself when we were talking about buying a car. He said he had to see at least 10 cars before he could make a purchase. I thought that sounded reasonable so I found as many cars online as I could and printed them out for him. This morning we went and got my permit renewed and instead of going to work we went to Carmax. We test drove three cars: A black Infiniti QX4, a Toyota 4Runner, and a Nissan Pathfinder. I actually made him at least try out the 4Runner before making a decision. Well within 2 hours he decided we need the Infiniti and bought it for me. So now I have a car! AHHHHHHH! It's sooo awesome, leather seats, sunroof, 6 disc changer, heated seats, power everything. We got a kickass deal cuz it's a 98. I also found out my dad is actually is quite a compulsive buyer heheh.
Other than that...I had nothing to do at work because my boss took a day off without telling me. I just sorta hung out for 4 hours...getting paid. I would be out driving my car right this minute, but my license-getting-day has been postponed because I waited to renew my permit. DAMNIT, I can't get it till august 4th now. At least a week of my wait will be spent in Wisconsin where my dad will be in the car basically all the time anyway. I hope with this SUAV (Sport Utility Attractive Vehicle), prenounced "suave," I can attract some ladies. Cuz something about me attracts people who aren't compatible with me at all and somehow all the girls I'm attracted to are either not interested or have a boyfriend. That's just my luck. BUT I'M STILL FREAKING ECSTATIC I GOT A CAR!
