Sewing Expo / Navy Ball
I fly to Michigan for the Sewing Expo on Thursday, I'm getting anxious now! I think I'm going to try and stuff everything into a back pack so I don't have to pay to check luggage...it's only a few days and I don't want to donate any more money to NWA. :-/
And as if I wasn't busy enough, the Navy Ball is October 4th. Money is tight, so I decided to make my own dress *smacks forehead*. Technically I saved a lot of money, if it turns out well - but I'm only going to have about five days to do it as I can't start it until I get back from the Expo. I have poor planning skills when it comes to stuff like this. lol I'll have to post pics, the fabric I choose (and two lady's from my 501st garrison helped as well!) is nothing I'd have ever picked. It's a maroon shade with a gold and evergreen pattern in it...I think it'll look nice made up, but I'm still nervous about it! Ryan wanted it gold to match the stripes on his uniform, any fabric that was close looked like it was out of the 70's. Keeping my fingers crossed it turns out well!
Still haven't heard if they're totaling Ryan's car or not...the fun just never ends!
