what's at the other end?

for years, people have been wondering:
what's at the end of the rainbow?
a pot of gold?

i think they may be right, for i've found not just one pot of gold, but FIVE.

here's what's on the other end of my rainbow:

thanks for compiling the CDs to provide us with good entertainment on the road!
and thanks for remembering to include LEE HOM. hahaha. thanks for everything!!

thanks for picking up the car & sending the car back! thanks for driving!!
thanks for waking me up this morning, sigh, too bad it rained! thanks for everything!!

thanks for being our road advisor! haha. and thanks for being patient with EDNA.
thanks for everything!!

thanks for picking up & returning the car! thanks for letting me rest from your abuse for ONE day.
sigh, i shall look forward to that day again, next year. thanks for everything!!

thanks for telling me, "I hope you'll be free and one day live the life you've always wanted and dreamt of living."
i felt like crying when i read that. heh! thanks for everything!!

maybe i've been feeling like the "boston" song for a long time now

can't share their original video, which is really cool. love all the pianos. it's like a scene from my dream.

but i know that this is a lie. a lie that everything will be fine once i'm...somewhere else.

and this feeling of wanting to run away from....i don't even know what i'm running away from, it will come back, again and again. even if i'm home. even if i'm here. even if i'm in boston. and i guess my way of dealing with issues by avoiding them has to change.

but i know God has been speaking to me, especially over the weekend and yesterday too. patience, patience. let patience have its perfect work, that i may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. but thank You Lord, for remaining faithful, when we're so faithless.

shall end off with a quote from Corrie Ten Boom:
"when a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. you sit still and trust the engineer".

so i'll sit still and trust, trust, trust the author and finisher of my faith.
