“Damn,” Yuya pulled on his pants, buttoning them up, “The only way I can properly describe how I feel right now would be to stab myself in the heart,” he said to Ryosuke, who handed him his shirt with a pout, “And then to stab myself again and again.”

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Ryosuke waited til Yuya finished putting on his shirt, before looping his tie around Yuya’s neck and knotting it for him, “You should poison yourself first, and then stab yourself repeatedly.”

Yuya snorted, turning towards his mirror and checking out his appearance with a frown, “Ryosuke, I look too handsome. Isn’t there anything we can to make me hideous?”

“Sorry my prince,” Ryosuke frowned, rubbing his back in a comforting manner, “But, as the Osakan’s say, you’re screwed.”

“I better go, my bride awaits me,” Yuya sighed, opening his door and exiting, leaving Ryosuke alone in his room.

“I hope Keito can get you out of this,” Ryosuke mumbled, biting his lip in worry.

As Yuya made his way into the garden, he could see his brothers talking to Princess Hasshi, and judging by the looks on their faces, they weren’t very pleased to be doing so. Taking a deep breath, Yuya smiled as charmingly as he could, joining the group.

“Oh Yuya, there you are,” Daiki sounded relieved as he hugged his little brother, before running off, Yuri following quickly behind him. Hikaru glared at their retreating backs before turning his attentions towards Yuya, pulling him into a one armed hug, “We’re thinking of having the wedding in the garden,” Hikaru cleared his throat, “The princess thought it would be a great idea.”

Yuya looked around the garden, “But of course, the sunlight upon her skin would make her look even more beautiful,” Yuya grabbed Hasshi’s hand and kissed it, fighting the urge to run away and cry, “Hello, my princess.”

“Oh Yuya,” Hasshi giggled, twirling her hair, “We’re getting married, so please call me by my name.”

“Of course, Hasshi,” Yuya said, stepping away from his brother and holding his arm out for the princess, who happily took it, “Let’s take a walk, see you later brother,” Yuya bid his brother goodbye, who watched with a sad smile as the couple walked away further into the garden.

“I was thinking we could have roses at our wedding,” Hasshi began gushing, “And daises, won’t that be a beautiful combination?”

“Yes,” Yuya agreed, as he began to tune out Hasshi’s voice, making sure to nod every now and then as the princess described what she’d like at their wedding. To be quite honest, Yuya didn’t give a damn and didn’t see why Hasshi needed his input. Weddings were all about the bride, and the only thing Yuya needed to do was show up and kiss her.

Looking down at Hasshi, he began to feel guilty for his ill feelings. She was definitely a beautiful girl, and although she was a little annoying at times, always giggling and what not, Hasshi was a very kind person. Yuya knew he should feel lucky, there’s definitely worse girls out there to be forcefully married to, but he just couldn’t be happy with this. His heart belonged to another.

“Yuya?” Hasshi shook his arm, pouting at him, “You’ve been spacing out, are you okay?”

“I was just thinking of how beautiful you’ll look,” Yuya quickly lied, stopping in the middle of the path and turning towards Hasshi, “It’s going to be a wonderful day,” Yuya said, taking Hasshi’s hand and kissing it.

Hasshi blushed, looking down at the ground as she giggled, “Oh Yuya, I’m so lucky to be marrying such a charming guy!”

Yuya chuckled lightly, trying to ignore the empty feeling in his heart, when something appeared in the corner of his eye. Peering through the trees, Yuya’s eyes widened as he began to recognize the familiar face.

Sensing that something was wrong, Hasshi followed Yuya’s gaze and saw the young boy playing in the trees, “You there!” she called out, “Who are you?”

The boy looked up and waved, running over towards the couple, “Yuya!” Ryutaro smiled, jumping into the older boy’s arms, “I’ve missed you!”

Hasshi frowned, confused as she asked, “You know this kid?”

“He’s Ryutaro, his mother owns the Johnny’s store beyond the mountains,” Yuya explained, setting Ryutaro back down on his feet, “Ryutaro, this is Princess Hasshi, my future bride.”

“Hi!” Ryutaro nodded to Hasshi, before turning his attention back towards Yuya, “Hey, remember that friend of your’s, the knight from England?”

“Keito,” Yuya frowned, hands on his waist, “What about him?”

“He’s a lot of fun to hang out with,” Ryutaro said, “At first I thought he’d be boring, but then-”

“Wait!” Yuya interrupted, his frown growing deeper, “What do you mean Keito is a lot of fun to hang out with, how do you even know him?”

Ryutaro pursed his lips, eyebrow raised, “Eh? You didn’t know? Keito came to us about a week ago, asking my mother for a favor.”

Yuya froze, starring at Ryutaro in shock as the other continued talking, “Yeah, because of Keito, you won’t have to marry Princess Hasshi.”

“Excuse me?” Hasshi asked, glaring at Ryutaro, “Yuya and I have been engaged for years, nothing can change that.”

“My mother can,” Ryutaro smirked, “She’s on her way to Osaka right now, to convince the King to offer your hand in marriage to another prince.”

“There are no other princes,” Hasshi grabbed Ryutaro by the collar, her face turning red with anger, “Only Yuya’s brothers could be a possibility, and they’re too old for me anyways!”

“That’s where you’re wrong,” Ryutaro removed Hasshi’s hands from his collar, holding them within in his own, “There is another prince out there, someone who’s only a little bit younger than you,” Ryutaro paused, grinning, “And he’s me.”

“What?” Yuya and Hasshi asked simultaneously, looking at Ryutaro in shock.

“Yes, by blood I am a prince,” Ryutaro chuckled, “You see, a long time ago my mother used to be a maid, trying to earn enough money in order to open up her own clothing store. She wasn’t a very good maid, but as you know, my mother is quite beautiful.”

“Yeah,” Yuya mumbled, nodding to himself, causing Hasshi to glare at him.

“A young man, who’s wife had died a year prior after the birth of his third child, sought out my mother. The two kept their relationship a secret, meeting late at night in his chambers to be together. It didn’t take long for the man to fall in love with her, and the unborn baby he soon discovered was in her belly.”

Yabu sat up and ruffled Ryutaro’s hair, earning him a glare from the younger boy, “You hear that, Inoo and I had sex and made you!”

“The man wanted to marry my mother and so he met with his advisors. His request was turned down though, on account that my mother wasn’t just a maid, but also a witch. Shocked and betrayed, the man commanded my mother to leave, ignoring her cries about their baby. With no where to go, my mother decided it was time to use the money she had earned and opened up her dream store, Johnny’s, just beyond the mountains. And within time, she forgot about the man who had broken her heart, who abandoned their only son together.”

Yuya ran his fingers through his hair, his mind whirling with the information Ryutaro had just shared. Hasshi, on the other hand, was livid as she stomped up to Ryutaro and punched him in the arm, shouting, “I would never marry the son of a witch, I don’t care if his father is King Yabu!”

“Sorry princess,” Ryutaro cringed, rubbing his arm, “But we both know I’m a much better match for you, since we are the same age and Yuya is almost an adult”

Hasshi growled and punched Ryutaro again, walking back to Yuya and grabbing his arm, “Let’s go Yuya, please.”

Yuya shook his head, “I can’t, I have to know if Keito is okay.”

“He’s just a knight!” Hasshi yelled, “Please,” she pleaded with him but Yuya pulled his arm out of her grasp, stepping away from her, “Yuya!”

“He’s not just a knight,” Yuya frowned, “He’s everything to me, I love him,” Yuya waved goodbye before running off, down the path and out of sight.

Hasshi sniffled, wiping away a stray tear that fell down her cheek, “Well,” she turned towards Ryutaro, holding out her hand, “I suppose we better get to know each other. Walk me back?”

“My pleasure.” Ryutaro smiled, grabbing her hand and together, the two began walking, Ryutaro chatting away while Hasshi listened half-heartedly, hoping Yuya was safe.

Everyone starred at Keito in awe, holding onto each other in anticipation.

Yuya didn’t stop running, no matter how out of breath he was or how much his legs ached. He pushed on, desperate to get to Keito. He knew that by doing he was risking everything, his title, the way people saw him but he didn’t care. The only thing that mattered was Keito.

When he finally reached Johnny’s, Yuya quickly ran through the door and through the aisles, almost hitting the shoppers as he entered the back room.

“Keito!” Yuya coughed, struggling to regain his breath, “Keito, are you here?”

“Yuya?” said boy turned around, nearly crying from joy as he saw Keito, uninjured, “Yuya, why are yo-” but Yuya interrupted Keito as he ran towards him, embracing the knight and pulling him into a kiss. Keito melted into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Yuya’s neck as the kiss deepened, a quiet moan escaping from his lips.

Yuya pulled back and rested his forehead against Keito’s, holding the boy as close as he possibly could, tears running down his cheeks, “I’m so relieved you’re okay.”

Keito chuckled, moving his hands and cupping Yuya’s cheeks, wiping away his tears, “Of course I’m okay, Yuya. Why are you here though?”

“Ryutaro told me that you made some kind of deal with his mother, in order to prevent me from marrying Hasshi.”

“I did,” Keito nodded, giving Yuya a little peck before continuing, “And for the rest of my life, I will work for Kei. She’s been training me in management, and once the Tokyo store opens this summer, I’ll be running it, so she can stay here.”

Yuya stepped back, Keito’s hands falling from his face, “Wait, what? But what about Ryutaro marrying Hasshi and what not?”

“Oh, well your brother didn’t know this, but the reason Princess Hasshi’s parents decided to marry her off this young is because they’ve decided to retire, in France,” Keito shrugged, “And no offense Yuyan, but you’re not really ‘King’ material. Ryutaro however, damn,” chuckling, Keito grabbed Yuya’s hand and linked their fingers together, “For being raised in the mountains, your little half-brother is more than qualified for the job.”

“Oh,” Yuya began to smile, “So, you and I…?”

“We’ll be together, happily ever after.” Keito smiled back.

And so they were, after Yuya told his brothers about his relationship with Keito, they allowed him to live with other and together, along with Yuto and Ryosuke, they managed the new Johnny’s store.

Ryutaro also lived a very happy life, as the King of Osaka, along with his beloved wife Hasshi and their two daughters, Kento and Fuma.

Last was Kei, who used her powers in order to revive King Yabu, who realized a long time ago how stupid he had been and proposed to Kei, who happily accepted the offer. Together, the two lived beyond the mountains, leaving the Kingdom of Tokyo in Hikaru’s care, who was greatly helped by his smarter brothers Daiki and Yuri.

The End.

“Awesome!” Inoo cheered, as everyone began clapping, “Yay!” Daiki yelled out, trying to hide his tears but once Ryutaro saw him, he informed the group and together they tackled Daiki in a big pile of laughter.

Except for Keito, who grinned as Takaki sat besides him, kissing his cheek, “That was a wonderful story, Keito,” running a hand through Keito’s hair, he asked, “So, happily ever after?”

Keito blushed, “I kind of really hope so,” kissing Takaki, he whispered against his lips, “I love you, Yuya.”

“I love you too,” Takaki replied, continuing their kiss.
