Goodbye, Gale, I'll Miss You
Sigh, I'm depressed. On this week's Vanished, Graham Kelton, played by Gale Harold was shot and presumably killed. His death will be announced on the next episode, where I'll get my last weekly glimpse of him. I'm in mourning. Not that I thought Vanished was a great show, but it was passable, bearly, and only because I got to see Gale every week. Without him on the show, I probably won't bother to watch it anymore.
One of the things that really aggravates me is that I was thinking of writing a crossover fic (QAF/Vanished), but this last episode killed that. Both because his character semi made up with his ex-wife, but mostly because he was killed. You can't have a corpse star in your fic. (I want him stiff, but not that way, hee.) Too bad I didn't think of it earlier on in the series and get it written fast.
Damn, they barely gave the guy a chance. Hopefully, he'll get something better on TV to be in soon, and we'll get to see him again on a regular basis.
