I love Super Happy Fun Day!
That was definitely the best day I've had in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. So much fun!
Justin picked me up (he looked great!) and gave me a dozen roses, which are absolutely beautiful! They make my kitchen table happy...except I need a real vase. I got to his car to discover that he made a Super Happy Fun Day soundtrack, which was awesome. We sang and danced to Rocketman and listened to the Pope thing a couple times as we drove to the Firehouse Grill for dinner.
After that, we went to the Putting Edge for glow in the dark mini golf. HOLY SHIT! It was awesome! I felt like a little kid in there, it was great! We played air hockey, and Justin won..but only because I let him. And then we played a bowling game, and he won again (I let him). Then came the crazy mini golf. The fishies were cool, the knights were scary, and the monkeys were really, really creepy. Justin got a few hole-in-ones, which he was properly rewarded for, but I still managed to beat him. And I didn't even cheat as much as I usually do!
We then drove to Rose Angelis, singing even more along the way. That soundtrack rocked! Louie, Louie, "Sodomy!" and No, Nay, Never...fun times. And I must say, Justin did a great job in We Didn't Start the Fire. My memory wasn't as good as his, but I tried really hard!...although I think I laughed more than I really tried. Rose Angelis was a really cute place, and the tiramisu was amazing!
We drove back to my place, rocking out to Mmbop and more Super Happy Fun Day songs, and we found parking really close to my apartment, which was great.
Justin then surprised me with Willow, and we ended the night watching it while sipping on champagne. Wonderful! :-D
