Friiiiiiiday night! The Good Little Fox We Make Party launch lived up to its name. The only hitch of the gig was that i was extremely disconcerted during my part because it sounded out of tune. Subsequently i missed out quite a few notes. Apparently the out-of-tune-ness was only an effect of being on stage, and it sounded ok in the audience. Meh. Anyway it went pretty well! I also felt that more non-band-members ought to have been on the stage during the rear end of the set, as has occurred at past gigs. It's sort of the GLF thing - to have more tambourinists than actual band members.
The name chanting was disconcerting, but nice. Good work groupies.
Since then i have done very little. Teaching myself some new accordion songs and reading some books. Cleaning out the spare room a bit in anticipation of getting my piano back tomorrow. Had lunch with brother and his girlf at my auntie's house, and visited my grandma, where I smashed a fair bit of the cryptic crossword. Wishing Well, Theorem, Rivet, Ambush, Pole Vaulter, Deficient.
Got to get myself into a routine. This non-activity is getting ridiculous. I am looking forward to September, which will be a month of intense piano practice and living in a close-to-uni location as i housesit for Tomoki's family.
