Pet policy
Well, we now have to change our pet policy at our hotel. Two rooms tonight had dogs in their rooms, and while we charge them a 20$ pet cleaning fee for the acceptance for the pets, we normally have no issues with them.
Now, we have a basket ball team in from another province in and they have mentioned that both rooms have noise coming from them. At the time, I didn't know that the guests were out. So, after calling the rooms and getting no answers, I went to see if the dogs were barking because their owners were in distress.
No, the owners of the dogs had gone out to weddings and left the dogs alone in the rooms. For SIX FUCKING HOURS!!!!!!
Now, if they had left the dog alone for an hour maybe an hour and a half, I'd have no issues, but these dogs were basically abandoned in our hotels while their owners were out getting drunk.
New hotel lease on pets - You cannot leave the animal alone in the room AT ALL, or you will be asked to leave.
Seriously, people who take care of their pets are gonna be punished for these two groups of assholes.... lovely isn't it?
