my first crazy shit happened on my shift storrrryyy!!!
These peoples motor home caught on fire a couple weeks ago and red cross paid for them to stay with us for about a week, they had a 3lb Chihuahua one of its 2 week old puppies, 2 kids, a mom and a dad.
Yes, they were locals…not the kind that are well, clean or...well you know if im writing about them it isn’t good. So they leave, they trashed the room their 3lb dog shit all over the place. I mean, come on. You were living in there too for a week! Eew.
They come in tonight and told me they were staying w/ a friend and it got to cramped, so give us a room for tonight. (I work 2-3 nights a week, and I had no idea they were on our DNR list for sure). Anyway, long story short the moms CC was denied not once but three times, b/c she was sure there was money on it. She goes to check at the atm and there is FOURTEEN dollars (she showed me the receipt). And showed me one from the day before, where there was 543.76. you are poor! Where the fuck did your money go?!?!
So I let them use the comp. while I called my manager so they could check the statement online, they SWEAR the authorizations I did on their card pulled all the money out of their account. My manager says do not let them stay there if they wont leave call the cops, meanwhile they are printing out a statement. I hang up and proceed to hear them recount all the charges on the statement:
Mom: you told me you only took out 60 at the casino! You bastard! You used up every last cent again! You are done!
Dad: that was at the beginning look I still have twenty dollars (pulls crumpled shit out of his pocket)
Bottom line is, they are broke and poor, have kids and a dog, and are using all their money at casinos?! Wtf… their ended up being some held money from the days in down the street from when they stayed there the last couple nights and it wasn’t realeased (they were kicked out of there too!). So after arguing in my lobby at 3am about how much money they wasted at the casino and whos fault it was they are broke they left to go argue w/ the days inn people. $543 to $14? These people have a serious issue. Honestly.
Sheeeesh. I wish you guys could see how these people were dressed too. It just completed the show.
