(no subject)
Another weekend halfway over. Not much to show for it.
Yesterday, at work I was left alone for the morning with Emilio (bosses' oldest son). He was rather intertaining. He's a bit immature..and seeing as how he's a boy I don't think he'll fully recover. He was playing online and I was helping him with word scrambles and we were doing a choose your own adventure heh. Then I took him to pick up some lunch. It was pouring down rain. We both got soaked trying to run back to the house. The girls were all wet too. His mom wasn't too happy about that. ah well.
Last night I went with my older brother to bible study...except it was only us and two others so we went for ice cream and sat on the beach insstead for awhile. There was a horrible smell on the beach and it was so humid out or I would've enjoyed it more. I like the beach at night best..and dusk. Sometimes I really dont' knwo why I bother socializing at all.
I went to the library today. The books I want are always checked out! Evilness! I guess I should put them on hold or something. I did end up with a good stack of books though. I've been trying to read classics but I decided to get some by some of my favorite authors that I haven't read in awhile. I need to find my book list too. There was some guy who might have been homeless at the library trying to talk to me at the check out counter. He said "You're awfully quiet today and pale are you ok?" umm ok he doesn't know me how would he know if I talk at all or what shade my skin usually is? Slightly creepy.
I was going to bake my dad's favorite cake tonight for Father's day but my mom used eggs for dinner and I don't have enough now. I already went to the grocery store today and I was going back in the pouring rain. bah. I guess I can make it tomorrow.
ugh I'm babysitting and holding down the office tuesday-saturday. *sigh* it's going to be a really really long week.
...and nobody is ever online when I am. hmph...well Mellie is. hah! Have a cookie Mellie.
