Currently waiting for D to come home from work. We have to get him ready for his L.A. trip. I really should redo the whole journal thing. This is a start. I think I should invest into a black marble composition book too. Life is going by so fast. I'm now 35 and I guess I'm do for another soul searching kinda thingy. You know, like taking time out to appreciate all that's in my life....
I'm now working 2 jobs. Making that cash and payin them bills. My new goal is to save enough so I can finally take the kids to the mainland. Also, a family trip to the Big Island to visit my grandpa.
My datebook is full of kids appointments and events. It does get harder as they get older. Thank God my kids are good! I could only imagine if they weren't. Jas is going to high school this year. She plays the ukulele and played Jason Mraz 'I'm Your's' at the ukulele concert. AWESOME! She's also a member HERO club. So far they've raised money for the homeless IHS and Now kids in Africa with HIV. Kari is still in Tae Kwon Do, a blue belt. She's also on the track team. Chris is doing well in school, and is in this NASA science program after school.
I need a hobby. I think I just have to do something athletic because the whole age thing is really showing up on the scale. I'm grateful that my weight distributes evenly. After our trip to the southern states..Oh boy, I'd weigh 300 lbs if I lived there.
