Sinks

Ive never really been happy with the design of sinks.I'm not very tall and even I seem to need to bend over uncomfortably. And having a decent sized one but reducing capacity because you need to put a plastic bowl in it so you don't chip plates..
Originally sinks were wooden troughs so nothing got damaged even if you virtually threw stuff in.
Belfast sinks were deep earthenwear ones which easily took large pans. Now no sinks are any use for large pans,or oven racks or the metal supporters over the burners.
And the design of taps is rubbish. They are always difficult to clean round while being the prime place for collecting crud.Plugs are not a great design either.Surely by now could have advanced from a Victorian design.
I'm not even going into avocado, pink.yellow (just,no) and brown ( OMG what were you thinking ) bathroom suites.
Yeah ,we use them a zillion times a day but really, they need a radical redesign, assisted by someone who has experience cleaning them.

I have no excuse for not being here and reading your great blogs than a vague lassitude and a lot of I-can't-be-bothered-itis.
