It was kind of sad that that was the closest Reese would ever come to having a family.

Yeah, it is. My idea for this story was to write a fluffy happy time between Finch, Reese and Leila, but then this idea came along and it turned into a quite angst-ish fic. I think write this two and don't add some angst is pretty hard, if not impossible. *hugs them*

I really liked this tender look at a peaceful moment for Reese. His desire for a normal family life is the most poignant part of the show for me and you have addressed it here in fine fashion. Thank you for this story.

This really is a beautiful story, though it's also really sad. Reese wanting something he can probably never have, and Finch realizing that. Makes me want to cry.

Uh, sorry? *hugs* The way he asked Finch if he thought they'll ever have kids at the end of the epsiode was just so heartbreaking. *hugs him* I think that scene inspired this subconsciously :S
