So, I'm an idiot.
A while ago, when Ford stock was approaching one dollar, I sat down at my computer and got all ready to join eTrade and buy some. The only reason I didn't do it was because of something in their service agreement, I can't even remember what now. Probably some sort of small fee or something. I'm too frugal. So anyway, I didn't buy.
Now, Ford stock is approaching $6 a share. It hurts to think about that lost opportunity. Had I bought $10k of stock (not even a third of what is in my savings account), I could have a brand new Taurus SHO and a nice tenor sax, with some cash to spare and the original $10k to put back in my account.
Another option, I could have gambled $5k and basically bought myself two years of life without needing a job. Or being comfortable while working a part-time stress-free job :)
So anyway, I'm dumb. I need to learn to jump at opportunity, in all corners of life.
