You should bust out the whole story in like a week, just so I don't have to wait :P
I'm not trying to sound mean or criticizing or anything but if Pierre walked to school how did he get to his mums car in the schools parking lot?
If you want suggestions on how to make it make sense you should make her a teacher or something :) that would be cool (feel free to use that if you want)
