So with all the drama and strife in my life, I had the nicest surprise in my inbox today.. Illness Illusion sent pictures!!!!

Sin was a Minimee of Trent Reznor that I had modded to be frowny and angry by Alicia. <3 his broher is much more light hearted.. They are like night and day. I adore him!

Actually... no. Sin and Trent are WAY TOO BIG for any 60cm body and I've had to go up to 70cm to get the right scale of shoulders. That head is HUGE!

I've got that Hound body sitting in its case for Trent but I've more or less decided on a DZ body for Sin. Because I hate that Hound body.

I'm unhappy with any other option right now - I would LOVE a Mano body but am not convinced of their stability. So for now I'm gonna go with what I know works till I have a chance to play with more.

okie well lemme know when you get the DZ body. I'm trying for a Featherfall group order and she gives 10% off orders over 1k ;) I'm such a penny pincher lol.

Mano looks cool but I haven't seen one in person. I know someone getting the new SD girl and can check out the engineering on that doll but still not the same - mano body is spendy too. Not sure how the resin match would be either. I have a Domuya perennial and it's interesting but I may sell it if it doesn't go well with my Breakaway head coming.

yup in white skin. I still have his head kicking around lol it's blank so I may sell it if the Breakaway head works with it. I already restrung with the type 2 neckpiece which tightened up the body nicely (it was uber loose before). The elastics were wider too so really really tight fit through the legs >.< at least the resin is nice and thick so little chance of breakage. With the tigher stringing and the wider elastic he poses like a dream now :) and stands really well. I just wish his neck were longer.

He is cute so there's a chance I may keep him. Dunno yet for sure...we'll see lol

I keep saying I'm cut off from dolls but stuff creeps up. I'm getting a minifee sleeping head (hey only $27) and using that for eye opening practice before the real deal on my limited little head. Too many dolls to want :( like another puki and the DIM Flowne girl...grrr

That's totally why I have to slow down. I've got too many on my list that I got to complete - gotta prioritize.

Plus I REALLY REALLY REALLY want my FCS F17 next year. And then Billie-Jean and her son.. So .. Yea. Gotta save.

yeah I understand where you're coming from...I have one more Unoa kit to build a bunch of seams to sand on various bodies and about 4 - 6 heads that need painting.... graah...dang this expensive and addictive hobby! lol

I've been selling everyone that isn't a necessity. I'm down to 3 heads once my Sato body gets here. And even then I'll probably be buying another boy or two about that time. So yea. NO MORE DOLLS!

I just put in a massive group order with Fairyland so managed free shipping XD wooo

and yeah trying to sell what I have that needs to go, but some of it isn't moving very fast. I may do a faceup on some of them and work on them a bit to see if they sell better....
