Well, I think there are a few basic human principles that most people will agree on. Murder, rape, stealing, most people could say that they think those are not good. Then we would need a system, of course, to keep them from not happening. What could we do? In At-lantis, sometimes you have your hands tied behind your back for days, when you pick a pocket?
You'll find people on board who enjoy all three, sad to say. The system of rules the ship has in place imprisons the offender for a few days in the case of rape and murder. And I feel it does nothing to deter. Stealing I've yet to see punished but I am highly amused by the thought of hands tied behind one's back.
I'm simply unsure of what we could get away with without getting punished...
