The one skill in my life I've actually consciously developed. You'd think I'd be prouder of it.
Oh my god I am trying to put a resume together and it is miserable. Bawwwwww I'm not wired right to be a real functional member of society but bawwwww I don't actually have the artistic skills to get by with being an eccentric artist bawwwwww. Relatedly, though, have been vaguely thinking again about whether or not it'd be worthwhile to open myself to commissions. I do feel that I've improved since the last time I considered it but I'm still feeling kind of unsure that I'm quite up to snuff for it. Arrrgh, I don't know; it's hard for me to determine "commissionable" quality because I've never been much of one for buying commissions anyway. Maybe I should just go ahead and see if I get any bites. I guess it couldn't hurt? Ugh, I don't know, I'm still not entirely used to thinking of my art in terms of "hey this is actually pretty good". 9 years of being terrible and having no talent will do that to you, I guess.
