This took me like five damn days from start to finish so I am going to show it off and you can't stop me. *Flounces around everywhere*
At Least It's Not January 1st by ~

deviantART Blatant attention whoring aside, my New Year's was pretty nice and peaceable! We had corned beef and cabbage, which is super delicious unlike pretty much everything else Mom cooks and yet we never have it. Played a couple of party games and then watched the ball drop. Not really much to write home about but I am trying to have some content here and apparently normal people write about their real lives on their LJ's what is up with that.
I beat Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box! Mom was shocked and appalled by my speed. Because beating a video game quickly apparently makes it a waste of money. Personally, I just loved the game to damn bits not that this is a surprise. I greatly enjoy puzzles, unless they are of the sliding variety in which case fuck 'em. I will say that I didn't like the WHAT A TWEEST of this game as much as the one for the first one, to phrase it as non-spoilery as possible. Also, am I weird if the most heartbreaking thing about it for me was not the actual core plot's resolution, but the profile for that guy who's always hanging around the fountain whose name I can't remember? I totally ;A;'d.
I went ahead and ordered a Wacom Bamboo. I ended up getting a larger one than I intended, because it was hella on sale and was only two bucks more expensive than the bitty version before shipping, and like five bucks cheaper after because the bitty one didn't have free shipping while the not so bitty one did. (Large and bitty are kind of misnomers, though, considering the two tablets have the exact same drawing space on them. One is just basically square while the other is rectangular.) I also got the most recent Booster Gold trade while I was at it sob so behind.
But hey, it's January, so any day now, I should be getting a call from the driving school! Sweet, sweet vehicular freedom approaches? Or perhaps just vehicular terror. I MEAN WHAT IF IT SNOWS AGAIN OH GOD. D: Driving is scary! As are people I don't know and situations where I am extremely likely to make mistakes sob I am a horrible perfectionist with a bad habit of freezing up when I don't know what to do which is often. D;
