SOUL EATER
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Well, ME chat was always yammering about it, and at the time I started reading it, I was in neotopia as well and their chat was always yammering about it, so my curiosity was piqued, and I hadn't read any manga in a while, so why not? I almost stopped reading it after the first chapter or so, but the fanservice petered off down to tolerable/ignorable levels, so I stuck with it.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I'm sure I'll move on before too long.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? I rather liked the arc about Tsubaki and her brother.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? Just in RP.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? Soul Eater seems pretty popular to me already.
TRANSFORMERS
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? Once upon a time, while Armada was showing on Toonami on Cartoon Network, my little brother was pretty big into it and I was the one always saddled with babysitting duty. I was pretty much disinterested in it for the first 13 episodes. I could probably have given you a clearer description of the plot and characters than my brother could've, but I had no interest in watching it on my own or anything. And then I saw the episode where Hot Shot got the Star Saber. From there on out I was hooked.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I already have moved on, basically. :V I lost interest in keeping up with the TV shows or collecting the toys or anything about halfway through Energon because Demolisher whyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I went and saw the movie, but other than that I haven't really kept up all that much. I can still yammer about it, of course, but I'm not involved or keeping up with it or anything.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? Oh, gosh, Demolisher's whole character arc, through late Armada and particularly early Energon. He was so conflicted and it was so interesting. And Hot Shot's character arc throughout Armada, too.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? I did back when I was into it. Fanart, fanfic, discussion, the works.
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? Sure. I think there's a little something in the vast Transformers mythos for just about everyone, but I'm hardly going to campaign for it or anything.
RED VS. BLUE
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place? RPing with not_teal. I never would've thought something like RvB would be my kind of thing, but not_teal just consistently cracked me up, so I sought out the episodes online and ended up marathoning the whole goddamn Blood Gulch Chronicles in 3 days.
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on? I'm sure I'll eventually move on, considering that I always do, but I think RvB will stick with me much the same way Transformers has. I'll always like it, even if I stop loving it.
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.? I'm rather fond of blue!Simmons in season 4, and Reconstruction in general was awesome, and I'm quite fond of the deleted scenes on the seasons 4 and 5 discs in particular.
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)? I appear to be one of the more, uh, prolific. RPers from this fandom. :V I have dabbled a bit in fanfic, but not so much in fanart because that armor is a bitch and a half to draw jesus christ. I did go a little insane with dolling, though. :V Dabbled a little in discussion, too, but it didn't entirely hold my interest. Really you can find about two different kinds of discussion of RvB: the slashy "wow so gay" type, or the "must predict what will happen next" fanboy kind. I'm more of the "omg wasn't that so awesome" kind, which is best in one-on-one kind of stuff. /rambling
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom? Well, I'll be the first person to point out that it may not be to everyone's taste, but... Yes, more people should get into it. I-I just want to share the lulz. ;A;
