i've learned a lot of things since moving to chicago.
there are people you can trust, and people you cannot. and sometimes, the people you feel you can trust can make you regret that in an instant. sometimes you have to be the bigger man. and if that means sucking up your pride then you must do so. love hurts, but at the same time it can be the best thing you've ever experienced. the temperature on the lakefront is always colder than the suburbs, and the mag mile is always the coldest part of the city. city driving isn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. chicago is by far not the worst place to live crime-wise. and finally, if it smells, don't touch it.
