More Than Words Bookstore is a great store and a great program in Waltham, MA. Kids aging out of the foster care system are taught real-world skills that help them break the cycle of homelessness and crime that many former DSS wards fall into. Many of you Boston folks have been to readings at their retail store in Waltham--some of the kids are super-enthusiastic about poetry and art-in-general.
So, they're in a contest to win 20 tickets to a Red Sox game (which are expensive, and have been sold out for 3+ seasons)--they just need votes.
