i'm sorry you missed the party
today was my first day back at work, and it went well as i expected. my boss told me there's an opening in day shift if i want it. i told him i'd think about it, since i dont have to decide for a couple weeks still.
the toga party was a full success. minus the fact that only bob, myself, and my friend will actually WORE togas! bitches. i still love you. we had a total of 8 to 10 people show up, so it was a good turn out. we had lots of good food and went thru 4 bottles of champagne, a bottle of wine, and some individual drinks. i am so happy that i got to see colin and kessley before they both head back to the east coast. i especially hadn't seen colin in a couple years or so. at midnight, we cheered and toasted our glasses, then went outside and lit two HUGE fireworks off that will brought. also, i decided to be silly and sent darren a text saying *new years kiss* at 11 since it was midnight where he lives. and when ray sent me a happy new year text at my midnight, i sent him one as well.
there was really only one not so good part, and that didn't even happen til the next morning. austin called me to say happy new year and sorry he didn't make it to the party. the poor thing was so sick on new year's, he went to bed at like 12:05am and barely celebrated. he wasn't feeling any better the next day, i could tell in his voice. i felt so bad for him, i told him i wished i had my truck so i could come hang out and bring him some soup or something, cuz i wasn't gonna have him drive when he's feeling ill. that's just stupid, and selfish. for now, all i can do is think good, healthy thoughts for him.
