In the interests of daily writing keeping me out of trouble with the law, and to just keep my writing flowing and nice (super nice, project N.I.C.E.) I'm gonna try and resurrect this deal.
This week, on the graduate school front I had a short and decently successful meeting with my narrator for oral history class' daughter, wrote up a beginning question protocol (questioning correctly and with historical value/research is harder than you'd think) for that said oral history, and am in the middle of printing out a ton of work on history with gender/race at the center of it. What's weird about graduate school is that I find myself thinking people I once respected or was intellectually intimidated by kinda stupid. Not all of them, of course, but people I'd had disagreements with and backed off while thinking, "well that cat knows way better than me" are more and more clearly not as formidable as I'd imagined them to be.
So basically, graduate school is a lot of work. And I'm a pedant in training.
pedantry owns, grad school owns
