Dear Livejournalers,
Next week the Bush administration will determine the fate of
millions of women and girls around the world - help make their
decision the right one.
On Thursday, July 15th, the Bush administration is slated to
make its final decision on whether or not to fund UNFPA, a
lifesaving program that provides maternal and child health care,
family planning, and HIV/AIDS prevention services in the poorest
countries of the world.
Join FreeChoiceSavesLives.org and a growing list of women's
health, environmental, religious and HIV/AIDS groups in calling
the White House at 202-456-1111 next Tuesday, July 13th to tell
the President it's time to stop playing political games and
start saving lives by funding UNFPA.
1. Please mark the July 13th Call In Day on your calendar right
now.
2. Then get ten friends to commit to making calls with you next
Tuesday.
The Call In Day will only be a success if we can overwhelm the
White House comment line with requests to fund UNFPA so it's
very important to spread the word as widely as possible now.
There's more information about UNFPA, the Call In Day and our
partner organizations below.
Thanks again for telling the Bush administration that we've had
enough - it's time to save lives!
