Today I learned how to drive a boat.
I've been unreachable this weekend because I forgot Phil the Cell Phone at home, and I was in some town in Slower Lower. (Southern Delaware.) Or it might have been Maryland. I really have no idea. But anywho, yesterday and today have been filled with lots of things. Trailer parks, fat old people with missing teeth, talking about Def Leppard with a 60 year old woman, driving a boat, building a deck, glow sticks, flirting shamelessly with (yet another) 20 year old guy, cheese danish, staying up too late hyped up on coffee reading about Keith Moon, and existing. I went camping with my grandmother. (The Cat Lady.) It was strange. ('Camping' here means "Driving to some weird campground in some Southern town, having a slightly tipsy hillybilly man pull your trailer into your lot, wearing a mini skirt while sitting in a cushioned chair in an air-conditioned camper eating cheese and crackers and watching Mad TV.") Lol.
All my grandmother's friends are really awesome, I've known them for a looong time. Except I'm not the fat ten-year old kid in the hot-pink leggings anymore, buahahaha. I'm the strange redhead (I dyed my hair again on Friday, it's kind of... intense...) in the stilettos who won't shut up. They're all quite a trip themselves, they smoke and drink a lot and there's one lady who also talks a lot so we get on just fine. And not only do I know how to drive a car now, but I can also drive a golf cart, and a boat. This weekend has been very odd. I got back a few hours ago, but my house is basically just as odd as camping in Hicksville. I would like civilization, a shower with actual hot water, and normal people. That cannot be found here, except for the shower. Tommorow is some kind of holiday, so I can't go to Main Street or anything because it will all be CLOSED. I'm tired, and slightly delirious, so sorry about this rather off the wall update. :-D If anybody wants to come over tommorow call me because I'm lonely. My mum is working on her website and my dad is sick. I would like to take this space to say that The Who is a wonderful explosion of mod and rock and sex all combined in a great band that is my favourite at the moment.
