"Divert
attention, that's the key. If you keep that in mind, no one will ever
arrest you." These are the last words said by Arsene Lupin's
father before he's murdered. The young orphan grows up to be a carefree
thief, making use of his formidable charm to rob the Parisian aristocracy.
His encounter with a bewitching adventuress, Countess de Cagliostro,
transforms the apprentice pickpocket into a top-notch thief. While
tracking down lost treasure once belonging to the kings of France,
and coveted by a royalist brotherhood, the young virtuoso pulls off
one dazzling coup after another: an attack on a train tearing along
at top speed, a chase through Paris's catacombs, a spectacular theft
at the Rouen cathedral. But his blind passion for the wicked countess
leads him astray.

It's
a story of friendship. A story of a neighbourhood. A story of a milieu.
A story of culture. It's also a story about "men," where
women are never far away
At the forefront, we find Jacques,
Francis and Didier, whose dreams interweave but whose destinies differ.
It's the story of a "little week" whose action takes place
in the bar-restaurant "Chez Roger," and which revolves around
a multitude of characters living in the Parisian neighbourhood of
Saint-Ouen today.

Just
because you disappear it doesn't mean you're dead. Or that's what
Tom, aged 8, has decided. He's now obsessed with only one thing: to
find his mother who disappear in a glacier in the Mont-Blanc range
five years ago. Sent to live with his grandfather in the mountains,
the city kid is ready to move mountains to find out the truth. Tenacious,
curious and imaginative, he'll force the adults around him to confront
the family secrets that his stay brings out in the open, just as the
great glacier throws up the wreckage of the Malabar Princess, the
Air India plane that crashed into the peak 50 years earlier, before
it disappears forever into the snow and ice.

Every
Sunday, it's always the same old story: Lucien, 14, can't understand
why his father, a serious and respected teacher, makes fool of himself
by dressing up as a clown and giving a show. Andre, Lucien's father's
best friend, feels for the teenager and decides to reveal something
from their mutual past that will explain the reason for Lucien's father's
strange behaviour. At the end of World War Two, both men, in a "fit
of patriotism" committed a pathetic act of resistance and got
caught at it by the Germans. These would-be heroes became German hostages
and were thrown into a "dungeon," along with other sorry
companions, where they waited to be shot. Their lives were saved by
the eroic actions of an elderly railroad man, a German soldier and
an incredible display of humanity. This amazing story will change
the way Lucien sees his father.
