Two in one day, you're killing me you know. And spoiling me. I'll never know how you manage it, but I'm so in awe of you. *smile* You're just so nosy! Hostess or not, just so very nosy :P And I think both myself and hahnsrockstar are thanking that nosiness right now. Junkies, what'd i tell ya.

I have to tell you I found this one to be maybe, my favourite Merica chapter so far. Even with the lack of banter, however much I love it between them it holds them back i think...just prolongs these steps forward that they should make. And I'm all for moving forward, and trying to be happy so this just plays right into my hands.

They've both fallen or are at least in the process of falling, I think that's pretty evident now. Erica's lack of protest at having this little meal and at anything else Mark brought up (that normally would have got a middle finger reaction not too long before) just spoke volumes. And he is just, well..he's sweet? That's so wrong to refer to him that way, I mean it's Mark Sloan! But the man is messing with my head now. He just warmed my heart all the way throughout this with every lovely, thoughtful thing he did for her. He just keeps surprising me and you're making me like him even more each time. What a sappy romantic, who knew! And I'm proud. *smile*

I'm still salivating over that sex scene, food and sex are just too good together. And i'm saying nothing else there, just dangerous thoughts now. But I love their intimacy there, it's really tugging at me lately.

I perhaps wasn't too clear on the banter thing on re-reading this mess of a comment. I suppose I was a bit too giddy from being spoiled yesterday. I never want them to go all soft and mushy cos eww...for this pairing anyway, but the snark (to me) and with Erica especially, seems to be a way for her to keep Sloan at arms length sometimes. And maybe that just sounds odd now too.

I think the shift in this chapter just put me all out of sorts, it was really just gold.

Hey, it’s the only time I have an excuse to be nosy. And I get beautiful inspiration to revisit one of my favorite pairings.

And I totally think you’re right that Erica uses the banter as a means of deflection. To keep Sloan at arms length, absolutely. But, I think we all can see that she’s doing a pretty poor job of it. She seems to be giving in easier and easier.

Yes, I think Sloan might take issue with you calling him sweet. But, really it’s written all over him, right? He just keeps pulling her along slowly, wheedling his way under her skin, and paying such close attention to her needs and desires. *swoon*

I must admit this was one of the easier prompts, food is very sensual and these two have demonstrated they’re open to a little play in the bedroom (again thanks you to *wink*).

I hope I’m not painting myself into a corner with these two. I’m not sure how long we can watch her resist time and again without adding any drama. But it’s gotta last at least until I finish this card. :P Sloan’s up next to finish out my bingo.
