AP Eng IV
For the AP class I'm in next year, can you believe what one of the five books we have to read over the summer is? Catcher in the Rye. How distasteful. I'm sure they could have picked ANY other book besides that that's more thematic and less apathetic. I think if it's an AP class, we should be a bit past the "coming of age" section in the course. Boooring. I can't believe that's on the list.
Oh my God - on my line today at work, a woman actually shoplifted and got stopped at the door! She was arrested! Apparently she had these two little bags that she was stuffing makeup in, and hid them like a champ. Her total was $10.04 and she was really hesistant and nervy at me - didn't even say a word and rushed off. That bitch was stopped at the door and confiscated. That's right. And she looked pretty well off, too. Roughest. I was so excited.
