so tonight after getting home from "Super Size Me" it was decided that we would get rid of all our gross, bad for you food (see pictures). good-bye simple carbohydrates.
i've never actually gone as far as throwing away food before (anything unopened we're donating to a soup kitchen) and thats always been my main problem. i never hated being fat. i disliked it, wished i was thin, but i never truly hated it enough to do something serious about it. sure i've gone to the gym regularly, but while eating too much, or cut back my food intake but not bother to go the gym. up until the last few months i could rationalize... i'm smart, pretty... so what if I'm a little overweight - but that changed from a little to a lot and now i'm learning to hate it. last night i found myself eating whip cream with a fork out of the fridge - just standing infront of the fridge eating it. (we recreated the moment and took a picture) gross. seeing "Super Size Me" was the last straw. it starts now - my cupboards are clean and tomorrow I walk. (current weight, appx 186lbs, 5'2 1/2")
