So with my wood burning I have been kinda limited on what I can do because I do not have any control over the temp of the tip. Which is needed for shading. HA I figured out today how to do it and not have to spend $200 on a new system or pens and tips. Simple trip to the local hardwood store should have everything I need to make what I want.

If I get an 2 gang electrical box, about 5 feet of wire(which I just might still hanging around for the re-work in the apartment) an electrical outlet and.... here is the bread and butter a dimmer switch. See I could wire the outlet the the dimmer and control the voltage making it's way to the tip. Less voltage the less hot the tip should be. This is all just a theory so far. But it should work. I hope it does. Cause then I could do things like
