I forget if you have a ds or not but you should get heartgold/soulsilver. the pokemons following you is THE CUTEST THING. I've always secretly liked to imagine my pokemon as being MY FRENZ because I am a nerd so me being able to talk to them and have them walk along with me is the best.
I never usually name Pokemon, so this is my first real time. I chose the theme of German pet names because I love Germans too much. xC PLUS PIKACHU IS TOTALLY A BLITZ.. IT WORKS TOO WELL.
Back in elementary school I was trying to invent real Pokemon using some sort of Frankenstein way. I was soooo obsessed. I would RP by myself during recess of my adventures. I also have a Pikachu plush that I used to bring with me all over. NO REGRETS
I really like the idea of the Pokewalker. It's very neat! I would also love to get one of the two games, but I don't have a DS. I only got the GBA like a year after the DS came out. *late*
