Randomly: Educating the Roomie, Bujold's "Chalion"
We went to see Batman Begins again last night. I liked it even more this time.
AND we saw the Serenity trailer! Woooo! We were bouncy and annoying, even if we were squeeing very quietly. The people next to us moved. *G*
In other movie news, I have shown the roomie Max Headroom and all four Alien movies.
Her reaction to Alien3? "Now, *that* main character? I could write *that* main character!"

Next up - Pitch Black. Her education is *frightfully* incomplete.

In other news, earlier this week, forty pages of The Curse of Chalion managed to pull me out of a rather pissed off/pissed-at fandom/lj/world in general mood. *makes swiping motion with hand* The white hot firey anger of a thousand burning suns, and it went away.
I'm both amazed and relieved.
I finished Curse of Chalion today - after reading selected, non-spoilerly bits to the roomie (which is something I really hate in other people). So now she's started on it.
She's about thirty pages in. At page twenty, she asked, "So, is there a sequel to this? And do you have it?"
mmmmmmwwwwwahhhahahahah....
(The answer was "yes, and no, and it's at the library, and you can hie your ownself down to get it, as I'm going to be too busy this week to read.)
