Well, the morning was fairly lousy but we had a long break and I treated myself by purchasing An Introduction to Animal Husbandry in the Tropics (5th ed, Payne and Wilson), which is making me very happy just to hold, much less read through.
(Do you know how to tell the difference between river and swamp buffalo (I mean water buffalo, not bison)? The swamp buffalo will, by preference, waller in the mud rather than swim in the river. There are physical differences (swamp buff are more likely to be white, f'stance) but that is the biggie)
I have been reading - I finished The Lost Steersman yesterday, and while not as mind blowing as The Outskirter's Secret (that's actually a good thing - OS kinda took me out too far) it did have many of the same elements that I enjoyed in the previous book. Day before I read (very quickly) Old Man's War, which was a fun read.
And Into The Woods should be ready to pick up from the library when I get back. Ya! Library!
